The Phillimon Program is a community-based social enterprise for children, young people and their families who are experiencing difficulty with life transitions. The program is aimed at migrant and ethnic families with the purpose to provide help and support for migrant children at risk of being excluded from schools and social groups.
Facilitated by group counsellors trained in expressive arts and social interaction workshops, the program is play based and designed to build essential inner tools for future psychological growth - free from the burden of past issues.
The Phillimon Program promotes any form of artistic expression that allows young people to connect with and understand their emotions and their behaviour creating a healthier understanding of their own needs and empowerment of their aspirations for their futures. The program is run in community centres, schools, colleges, hospitals and organisational venues.
The program is accredited by Play Therapy U.K and Play Therapy International
